Our Mission

The Jake Taraska Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to using the passion for sports to help find a cure for pediatric cancer and to provide hope to the suffering of millions of children and their families. The foundation was established in 2016. It was established for 2 reasons:

1.) To provide the affected children and families hope and confidence they deserve to overcome cancer. The Jake Taraska Foundation will use 100% of the proceeds to ensure that every child gets the hope they need. The money will be used for research for new treatments and cures, and will be used to provide kids gifts, toys, and other opportunities.

2.) To inspire individuals to make a positive impact on the world despite what others think of them and despite their fears and disabilities. Also, to encourage and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for childhood cancer.

As a young child, Jake realized the power of giving back through his struggles with cancer. To learn more about Jake’s Story, go to Jakes Story. During Jake’s battle with cancer, he had tremendous love and support which gave him the hope and confidence he needs to overcome cancer. Jake wants every child that gets diagnosed with cancer the same opportunity that he had as a child. Jake wants to provide kids hope through raising money for research and through providing kids gifts and toys. To learn more about why Jake is giving back, go to Jake’s Bio.
